Mix'n'Match is an Australian owned company committed to creating maternity clothing that is stylish, flattering, very comfortable and NATURAL.

We know that today's woman needs a maternity wardrobe that co-ordinates easily to reflect individual style. We strive to have our clothes not only look beautiful but feel beautiful and therefore our emphasis is on predominantly natural fabrics.

Our history

In 1982 Judith launched her own bridal label from humble space in Flinders Lane, Melbourne. For the next fourteen years she grew to become one of the foremost suppliers to most major bridal stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Moving to High Street, Armadale, she designed and hand sewed couture bridal gowns for the next ten years, winning awards along the way. Many brides kept in touch with her after she sold her business, and asked her to design maternity clothes for them. This home-based casual business grew too popular and thus Mix'n'Match was launched.

Why natural, why merino and why cotton?

For the most natural time in a woman's life why wouldn't you wear natural fabrics?

Merino garments are naturally resistant to odour and are capable of absorbing moisture vapour and moving it away from your body. Merino "breathes" and there is no unpleasant "clammy" feeling and therefore you will feel more comfortable over a range of different temperatures.

Merino's natural elasticity over other fibres is perfect for layering and feels silky and luxurious against the skin. It's relatively free of static problems and eliminates a clingy look. Merino contains "keratin" which is made of the same substance as human skin and therefore doesn't itch.

Merino wool is anti-static, acid resistant, has natural UV properties and fire retardant.

Cotton garments are also one of the most natural fibres on offer. Cotton like Merino has many benefits for the wearer too. As a Hypoallergenic fabric, it is the best choice for people who suffer from allergies or asthma, or those who have skin that is sensitive and prone to irritation.

Cotton and Merino are a biodegradable and renewable resource. This is in line with our philosophy of leaving a low carbon footprint for future generations.
